The 3rd of 6 children for his parents, Dr. Michael P. Morgan, was born in Pleasant Hills, St. Mary Jamaica, but spent his tender years in the Old Capital (Spanish Town) in the Ensom City. Upon completing his secondary education at St. Catherine High School Spanish Town Jamaica, he joined his family in the United States of America. Dr. Morgan successfully obtained his Medical Degree at the Karola Marcinkowskiego University of Medical Sciences, Poznan, Poland after completing his undergraduate studies at Concordia College, Bronxville, NY where he majored in Biology. He has worked as a Postdoctoral research scientist with the Sergievsky Center for aging and memory studies at Columbia University, and is currently employed at Harlem Hospital where he is doing his residency training. Having worked at Kingston Public Hospital and rotating through the Bustamante Children’s Hospital, Dr. Morgan is motivated to continue contributing to the ongoing development and improvement in the field of medicine worldwide, but particularly in Jamaica. Thanks to the JAHJAH foundation, he is able to continue making this a reality.
