Jamaicans Abroad And Friends Of Jamaica Working Together For A Better Jamaica

JAHJAH means Jamaicans Abroad Helping Jamaicans At Home. Jamaicans and friends of Jamaicans in the US, Canada, and England work together to assist Jamaicans at home in the areas of healthcare and education.

  • It is our vision for a fully functional volunteer first responder service in Jamaica. We have therefore started the pilot for this project, the Jamaica Emergency Medical Services (JEMS) Negril. A community based volunteer first responder service to respond to medical emergencies. The volunteer first responders are trained and ready to go. We have already purchased one (1) ambulance and we need two more for this pilot phase of the project. Our goal is $200,000 US to purchase and get the ambulances to Jamaica, and to maintain them. Please help us make this vision a reality by visiting our website and make a donation toward the ‘Ambulance Fundraiser’. Thank you.
