We support medical  professionals in Jamaica’s public Hospital with lectures and hands on training workshops. “Give a man a fish you feed him for the day, teach him how to fish you feed him for a lifetime”, this is the concept behind our training and educational initiatives. Many of the volunteers that participate in the mission trips impart their knowledge and advanced techniques to local physicians so they they can use the training to better treat their patients. Each year the foundation conducts an intense  2 day Emergency & Critical Care Point of Care Ultra Sound (P.O.C.U.S.) Case Presentations & Hands On Workshop to train doctors to effectively use the latest ultra sound technology to reach faster diagnosis in emergency rooms at pubic hospitals.

In January 2023, through a collaboration with our partners, the Jamaica Handheld Ultrasound Project (JHUP) was launched. JHUP provides the latest handheld ultrasound devices, on going bi-weekly training and case review sessions with health professionals from pilot hospitals across Jamaica. The proper use of ultrasound technology can make a huge difference in patient outcomes and save lives.
