On October 20, 2025 (Jamaica’s National Heroes’ Day), Dr. Trevor Dixon, founder and CEO of the JAHJAH Foundation, received the Order of Distinction (OD) in the rank of officer (Jamaica) for his work in the areas of healthcare and education in Jamaica via the JAHJAH Foundation. The Ceremony of Investiture and Presentation Of National Honours & Awards was held at King’s House, Kingston, Jamaica. Congratulations to Dr. Dixon and the JAHJAH Foundation.

Dr. Trevor Dixon, MD, RDMS, OD, is a Jamaican-American emergency room physician based in New York. His is the founder and CEO of the JAHJAH Foundation.

Dr. Dixon accepted this award ‘on the behalf of every JAHJAH Foundation volunteer, from then up to now, every donor, every sponsor, and every supporter.’ Dr. Dixon is looking forward to continuing with his of Team JAHJAH Foundation as we seek to continue to assist Jamaica in the areas of healthcare and education.
