On January 23-24, 2019, Drs. Jeffery Kimm and Patrick Eiben, from Team JAHJAH Foundation and Jacobi Medical Center, Bronx, NY, conducted a two-day training at the Kingston Public Hospital, Kingston, Jamaica. Critical care physicians were taught how to gain intravenous access on patients with the use of ultrasound. Currently, whenever there is a difficulty in gaining intravenous access, patients are sent to surgeons to do more invasive techniques. We would like to thank both doctors for providing this well-needed training. We would also like to thank Jacobi Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center residency program. This training was done in collaboration with Kingston Public Hospital, through JAHJAH Foundation’s great relationship with Dr. Hugh Wong and his great team of healthcare advocates.
