Lyndon Williams, a representative of JAHJAH Foundation (Jamaicans Abroad Helping Jamaicans at Home), delivers a new refrigerator to Michelle-Ann Pitter, principal of the Cooreville Gardens Basic School in Kingston, last Tuesday.

The donation from the foundation replaces the malfunctioning refrigerator in the school’s canteen. The request was made by the Kiwanis Club of West St. Andrew, which has a long-standing tradition of contributing to the school’s canteen and grocery needs.

The JAHJAH Foundation engages the Jamaican Diaspora and friends of Jamaica all around the world to assist with projects in Jamaica.
